We stsyed at wolf lodge which has 2 huge roll top baths very inviting nice. We were 3 people. My daughter had a successfull bath.. i then ran one got in and washed my hair..had conditioner on my head..and then there was no more hot water to wash off. I had to wash my hair in cold water and my aunt couldnt take a bath or shower. Very dissapointing after 500 1 night.This must be common problem as whilst in reception..another family were reporting same problem and had been moved twice and still had no hot water or heat and left to go to another hotel
Dispite the weather being terrible I must give Bear lodge 5 stars. Had a great time..
Very good. Quite nice. But food and drink quite expensive. Over 5 for a bottle of Beer or a pint of lager.
Bear Lodge is a great place to stay. Glamping at its very best! The beds are comfortable and there is a log burner if the nights are cold. The views are stunning and you can see for miles. Everyone is friendly and there is a play area for young children complete with a slide. Why not finish the evening around the fire pit. Don't forget to pack the marshmallows! I also recommend the nearby restaurant and doing the Mongolian Grill style experience where a friendly and experienced chef will either cook your choices of food from the food bar or you will be taught how to cook it yourself on the hot plate.
Good, simple food cooked beautifully! lovely menu, something for everyone. lovely attentive friendly service too!
