Certain staff were friendly however the prices were high in comparison to other like for like shops we've visited. I wouldn't go back or recommend this as high quality products can be sourced cheaper elsewhere.

Great choice of furniture but beware of lying sales staff, after place a 2k order I was told 4 weeks max delivery. 7 weeks later still no delivery, now sales staff are unsure when delivery will be!!!! Unless you take straight from shop DO NOT preorder anything!!!! Better still don't make the mistake I made, just don't use them!
I would like to stipulate that if you are lucky enough to have a shopping experience with Ashbury furniture which is trouble free you will have a good experience. However if you are unfortunate to have any issues I am sure you will find yourself in the same position as me and others that have given less favourable reviews. I have now been waiting since the 28th July when I ordered some wardrobes. They were installed after 6 weeks with incorrect parts and I am still waiting as of 18th October for this to be rectified. I believe the fundamental problem, which has fed their attitude to this, is that they have been paid in full so have no investment in dealing with this other than a cursory email informing me it will get sorted at some point. When I have dared to complain and ask for a part refund until it is sorted I am fed with the line that they are a friendly family business which does not compensate the fact I was lied to about timescales.Simply put and my advice to one and all is by all means shop with them, but hold back funds until such time your order gas been full filled to your satisfaction. For if you part with your monies up front you may come a cropper as I have.
My wife and I bought a king size sofa bed (a display model), for almost 1200 from this shop for our son and daughter in law. However, when we arrived home 30 minutes later, my son told us that his wife didnt want the bed. I immediately phoned to tell them about it and asked for a refund because the bed was still in the showroom. However, I was told that if I didnt take delivery of the bed, I would lose 600 of the 1200 we paid.We were shocked at the salesman attitude.He told me that when he gave me the invoice to sign that he did mention that you are signing this invoice and you agree with the Terms & Conditions within it. Well, why not ask me to read the T&C before signing. If he had said, by the way, if you sign this contract and you change your mind within minutes, you will lose half of your money, I would have walked straight out of the shop. Anyway, we reluctant went ahead with the order. The bed was delivered this morning without two pillows which was part of the deal.The driver rang the shop to find out about the pillows and I was told that I would have to go and collect them from shop, simply unbelievable. Anyway, I went to the shop this afternoon to collect the pillows. When I arrived home, my wife told me that they are used pillows and not new. She was absolutely livid. We will NEVER set foot in this shop again. The pillows are now in the bin. We are very disappointed indeed......
