Cannot thank everyone at Ashford Recovery enough. My young son and I were in a very bad accident and had been recovered to the services by the free motorway recovery company. The AA left us stranded for hours not caring that we were very distressed but Ashford Recovery came to our rescue and got us safely home in no time. The driver (Mark) was very kind and made us feel safe after what had been an horrendous day. The office staff were also very kind and courteous when we arrived to pay the bill. I cannot recommend or thank this company enough.
Initially I couldn't praise them enough but now I can't moan about them enough, they came out very quickly after my car hit wet oil and spun round facing wrong way to traffic causing a problem for other traffic and was undrivable, in my confusion and panic called nearest recovery to alleviate road problems for other vehicles, thought 395 a bit steep but was grateful to get home, was told email receipt would arrive next day, it didn't so phoned them and promised to be in evening, next day phoned again to be told would do it that night, Wednesday morning rang again as I needed receipt to settle my car insurance claim as car was a write off to be met with rudeness, told me not to wind him up as he not in the mood when I tried to,say something he cut me off... Well excuse me for wanting a rightful receipt for over priced recovery of vehicle for my insurance, good job I have legal cover and now in the hands of a solicitor to see if they will be rude and cut them off.
Worst recovery service ever having to wait over 6 hours, it was a Sunday so they though they could tow us to a random location in the middle of nowhere because they didn't want to take us home which would be too long for them. Guy on the phone really needs to fix up his tone and understand the situation.
Terrible service worst customer service, did not understand the situation and the guy on the phone had the cheek to say I was being rude on the phone when I was calm. my family and I waited over 6 hours and these guys decided not to turn up. If its a major fault with the car they will not take you home but tow it to a different destination. Poor service recovery in my years.
Great service! A friendly guy took the time to diagnose and fix an engine management problem after a breakdown right at Dover passport control. We got our holiday back!
