My first visit here was awful rude dentist firstly. They filled in the wrong tooth. 2 days later i was in A&E with a infection. Went to go back a few weeks later but had to cancel. Phoned well in advance to cancel my appointment. A week later I got a lovely letter saying about me time wasting. Kind of ironic considering what they had put me through. Taking me off your books was the best thing you ever done. Got a lovely dentist who actually cares for his patience.
I visited the new building for the first time this week. The waiting room was empty. Not a magazine/newspaper in sight, just a hand written notice requesting people not to eat or drink in the waiting room.Fair enough, but I did have a sip of water on one of the hottest days of the year! Called on time, saw dentist for check-up. Over in minutes. Surprised not to have my scrape and polish after seeing dentist. That was the norm in the old Leafield surgery. So have to go back to see hygienist in 2 weeks time. Not impressed.
I recently visited the practice on one of the hottest days of the year. The waiting room was pleasantly cool but would hope that, as it faces south, blinds might be fitted in future to protect from the full force of the sun. Parking should be much easier when all the builders equipment has gone. The treatment from my dentist was of the usual high quality and I went away satisfied with my visit.
As usual I come out of this NHS dentist feeling like I have been fleeced. I visited for the first time their new premise, all very nice and sterile, booked in for my 8:10 appointment and was promptly seen at nearly 8:30 great start. The dentist very friendly then proceeded to examine my teeth in a record 90 seconds, and then explain to me that in order to bring them up to a decent level I would need to see a Hygienist, i had no scrape no clean so I assume my teeth were fine apparently not, but I can pay extra to get it done. Do you remember when you used to leave the dentist with that nice fresh clean feeling not any more the only thing clean are my pockets from being charged 21.60 for what feels like minimum work, and an attempt to get you to spend more money on services that the dentist should do, i understand cosmetic cleans are not in the remit but a basic clean of any plaque which could directly affect gums should be part of the paid service, or is that unreasonable?.
Wow what a great surgery. Referred here to have tooth extraction, pleasant, thorough, very professional.Faultless visit, promptly seen to and made me feel very well looked after.Advice was given for post extraction and was seen to quickly and thoroughly, cant recommend highly enough. Fantastic new premises also, parking outside also.
