They left my 88 year mother on a trolley for 24 hours which weakend her so much, then she was placed on a frail care ward for 18 hours. The care there was luke warm at best. She was transferred to the ICU where she finally got great care. Sadly she died because she had an infection they did not have the time to find. If she had been treated when she arrived she would be still with us. I would ask your ambulance to take you to Maidstone if you can. A terrible and scary end for such a beautiful life. My mum deserved so much more.
I had a bad allergic reaction to what we believe is too much flu remedy paracetamols. I came here on Friday night after my whole body developed a bad rash and I felt really faint, however could not be seen in under 4 hours so left to come back in the morning. However, when I came back this morning I was amazed and how well I was cared for. The doctors and nurses were so nice and easy to talk to, made me feel very comfortable when I was terrified. They did all my tests and made the experience as nice as possible. I believe the problem many people have with this hospital is the simple fact is there are too many people and not enough facilities. Having to wait over 4 hours just to be seen by the triage nurse is a joke. It is not the fault of the staff themselves, I find them to be very caring and helpful.
Our daughter had a tooth extraction after fracturing it. The day surgery team were amazing, the nurses, dentist and anaesthetist were so supportive and caring.
Brilliant from start to finish. Was sent here due to an admin error, where the wrong hospital was put down on my appointment letter, but staff made every effort and managed to fit me in for my pre-op anyway. As a result I also ended up having my surgery here and the staff were fantastic from start to finish, all very kind and informative with both myself and my partner.
Great staff and the help and empathy they had was great but unfortunately due to low staff numbers I self discharged myself after 7hrs of waiting, which was less than others.I hope they get the staff and money they require as the workforce is great
