An experience to recommend!Having thought for a sometime about having my teeth whitened at Sunnyside, it was after a routine check-up with my dentist that I decided I would like to discuss the process of whitening and the results I could expect from it.My teeth have always been in good health, I just wanted a brighter smile.I was introduced to Leepika, Sunnysides fulltime hygienist who examined my teeth and gums there and then and suggested I book an appointment for a consultation to discuss the different options available, cost and procedure etc.A morning consultation was carried out and I returned later that same morning for the treatment. The whitening treatment I chose was the celebrity zoom whitening. There was an offer running at the time that included a free home whitening kit and a free electric tooth brush. The treatment was also further discounted due to the dental plan I subscribed to many years ago, so all in all I had a really good deal that resulted with an amazing smile too!The treatment itself was two hours (in the morning), this was the intense whitening and with an instant result. Charlotte, Sunnysides dental nurse, made impressions of my teeth and I returned later that same day for Charlotte to fit the trays. Training was provided to use the whitening gel and this included a good supply of gel as well.I have been using the home whitening gel for just three months now and my brighter smile has not wavered. It is without question, a whitening experience I would recommend and urge others to talk to the practice about.Having enjoyed the many compliments for my whiter teeth, this can also boost confidence, and give you an even bigger reason to smile. My entire experience at Sunnyside has been fantastic and I cannot thank Leepika enough for her professional and thorough care with my treatment. She continued to explain each step of the process to me and made sure I was at ease throughout the whole treatment. Charlotte was always on hand to assist and made sure the process ran smooth and without falter. My first visit. I turn up for a 9:00 a.m. appointment. Told by reception that the dentist will be 10 minutes late as his train is running late. Maybe 25 minutes later a confused dental assistant tells me he's missed his train or that it's running late not sure. Someone yells out to text him again. At 9:45 a.m. I am about to leave, given up, then the dental assistant takes me upstairs, to the dentist. No apologies for waisting 45 minutes of my day. I needed an xray, first one didn't work (?) so did it again. So I apparently need 1,000 for root canal work and a new crown. Probably 4 visits. Fair enough. I want out. Lost any professional credibility in that place, will go elsewhere.
I have been a long standing patient at Sunnyside Dental Practice and would like to echo what the previous reviewer said about the practice. While service under the previous owners was fine, things have improved dramatically under the new ownership. Everything seems to work better and more efficiently and the new dentists are very competent and friendly. I have recently started seeing a new dentist there called Magda and cannot speak highly enough about the quality of care and customer service she provides. Bravo, keep up the good work.
Since Dr Patricia Szymczak took over as the owner of Sunnyside Dental Practice The service has improved dramatically on all counts. The expertise offered on all aspects of dentistry is in my opinion the best to be found in the Ashford area. The practice now offers excellent parking facilities which in this day and age is a must in all towns and cities. On entering the premises you will be greeted by two charming receptionists Julie & Charlotte who will endevour to help you with any queries you may have. The waiting room has been given a makeover offering comfortable seating and coffee making facilities, which helps to relax even the most nervous patient. All the nurses at the practice have been trained to a very high standard and ensure your treatment is carried out with the highest degree of hygenie and safety.It is well worth investing in one of the Practice Plans on offer as it can save you money in the long term.If I had to single out someone at the practice for special recommendation it would have to be receptionist Julie as she goes out of her way to ensure one is able to see the dentist of your choice especially in an emergency situation.Kindest RegardsPeter Luffrum
I'd definitely recommend Sunnyside dentist. All the staff are thoroughly professional and provide really relaxed atmosphere. That really helps if you've got this deeply engraved fear of dentists, as I have. The practice is very clean, has all the dental gadgets, a camera showing you your teeth on the screen. They explain the + and - of the various treatment options really clearly, and the costs are transparent too. The location is great too, what's not to like? I am always happy to go back.
